RTINGS.com is seeking an AI Developer in Montreal to build and maintain AI agents and pipelines that power member-facing features and internal tools. You will integrate LLMs into the Rails backend and continuously monitor performance, cost, and quality of AI services.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in CS/engineering and 5+ years of software development, with strong Rails experience and a track record in AI/LLM projects. Join a team shaping the future of product reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails is required.
• Experience building applications that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs.
• Experience designing and integrating backend services and APIs.
• Experience with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks.
• Experience with observability or monitoring for AI systems (tracing, evals, logging, cost and latency tracking) is an asset.
• Experience evaluating and integrating third-party AI services and tools.
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
