Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the office at least three days per week. If you live outside an 80 KM radius from Markham Elevation Centre, the role will be remote.

The Role

We are at a pivotal time in our industry where simulation techniques are paving the way towards a digital revolution in our engineering tools and systems. As we develop new software content for our vehicles, our vision is to augment simulation techniques with AI to enable maximum efficiency, increased robustness, and optimized workflows that are scalable.

To achieve this, we are creating dedicated teams focusing on AI, Data Analytics, Co-Simulation, and Software Calibration. This role is critical for building AI models that can effectively extract and learn from existing core information.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

1. Model, build, and test AI-based software that handles a wide variety of complex inputs.
2. Utilize your expertise in LLMs and/or AI agents to enhance our software and tools stack, maintaining strong connections to our data frameworks (such as existing calibration or development guides).
3. Collaborate with a team of specialists, including data scientists, simulation experts, and calibration technical specialists, to develop new capabilities within our existing Co-Simulation framework.
4. Prototype new AI solutions that align with our evolving goals and future-proof our technology stacks.
5. Contribute to visualizations of our work and aim to interpret AI outputs with physical meanings.
6. Continuously challenge the status quo to deepen our understanding of data.
7. Master ambiguity to leverage creative insights while remaining grounded in your deliverables.
