Zusammenfassung

Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI research organization to explore how people build with AI coding assistants. We seek builders with their own projects, from seasoned developers to non-coders who work with AI, to do normal work in OpenCode, a terminal-based coding assistant, while sessions are recorded.

Participants will build or improve their own real project using Gemini and open-weight models, select models per task, and work in a single chat per task.

Qualifikationen

• Actively building a real project (side project, startup, app, or LLM-powered feature).
• Uses AI tools to build, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Cline, Replit, or Lovable.
• Comfortable following simple terminal setup steps on Mac or Linux.
• Professional coding experience is welcome but not required; non-coders who build with AI are encouraged to apply.

Role Overview

• Remote, flexible schedule
• $500 per accepted session (about 50 turns, typically 2–3 hours of active work)
