How you will make an impact:

The must haves:

• Education: Completion of a 3rd‑ or 4th‑year undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with an operations focus, or enrollment in a Master’s degree in one of these areas.
• Experience: Application of programming or scripting languages through coursework or prior work experience. Foundational knowledge of process improvement, data analysis, and automation concepts. Demonstrated logical thinking with a structured, process‑oriented approach to problem solving.

Nice to haves:

• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar AI and automation tools.
• Background in process improvement, workflow automation, or operations‑focused initiatives through coursework or prior work experience.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions in a way that aligns with business outcomes.

Pay Range:

The hourly pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00. Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
