Job summary

GIRO Inc. in Montreal is seeking an AI Architect to define and evolve the AI architecture and agentic workflows across platforms. You will shape the infrastructure, standards, and governance to ensure secure, cost‑effective deployments at scale.

You will guide AI platform evolution, manage context/memory, and collaborate with architecture, data, security and development teams to stay ahead of AI trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in solution, system or technology platform architecture.
• Expertise in designing and implementing AI solutions with scalable architectures.
• Proficiency with generative AI models, agentic systems and distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture, guiding principles and integration standards for AI and agentic solutions.
• Design and maintain a shared infrastructure ensuring security, resilience, observability and cost control.
• Guide evolution of AI platforms and their integration into GIRO's technology ecosystem.
• Define frameworks, reusable components and development standards for agents and agentic workflows.
• Design orchestration, oversight and collaboration mechanisms for agents.
• Guide management of context, memory, RAG and enterprise knowledge while protecting data.
• Define engineering and delivery practices for controlled deployment of AI solutions.

You will guide technology choices and support teams in bringing AI solutions into production.
