• Job Location: Toronto or Remote for suitable candidates across Canada

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AI Application Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of AI-powered applications and solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning models within real-world applications. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to create innovative AI-driven products and services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and deploy AI / ML models into scalable applications.
2. Work with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
3. Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and real-time processing.

Application Development :

1. Build and maintain AI-powered web and mobile applications.
2. Develop APIs and microservices to integrate AI models with front-end applications.
3. Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy AI applications at scale.

Data Processing & Management :

1. Preprocess and manage large datasets for AI training and inference.
2. Implement data pipelines to streamline AI workflows.
3. Ensure AI models are updated and continuously improved based on new data.
4. Work closely with product teams to understand business needs and define AI use cases.
5. Collaborate with UI / UX designers to enhance user experiences in AI-driven applications.
6. Stay up-to-date with AI trends, research papers, and emerging technologies.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization :

1. Track AI model performance and implement improvements based on feedback.
2. Optimize application architecture for speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Address technical challenges such as model drift, bias, and explainability.

Qualifications & Skills

Education :

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience :

1. 3+ years of experience in AI / ML development, software engineering, or a similar role.
2. Proven experience in developing and deploying AI-powered applications.

Technical Skills :

1. Experience with AI / ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.
2. Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI model deployment.
3. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
4. Understanding of DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
