Are you a true people person, a self-starter, and passionate about sharing knowledge? We are seeking an Agronomic Technical Consultant to engage with growers and ag retailers, demonstrating how our technologies can enhance Canadian farmers' productivity sustainably and profitably. Your role involves traveling within your territory to meet prospects and current customers, providing expert agronomic advice, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Travel daily within your territory to meet and build relationships with prospects and customers, generating leads through cold calls and follow-ups.
  2. Act as an on-farm consultant, offering agronomically sound solutions tailored to each grower's needs using our product portfolio.
  3. Organize and lead field demonstrations and seasonal crop tours.
  4. Represent our brand at various events and support campaign deployment to distributors and key accounts.
  5. Develop and implement a sales plan to meet revenue targets.
  6. Accurately record all interactions and pre-orders in our CRM system daily.
  7. Collaborate with our Canadian and international stakeholders to promote innovation and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Self-motivated, independent, yet a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, persuasive, and competitive spirit.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture or agronomy.
  • Experience in B2B sales or consulting is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM software.

Work Environment:

  • Flexible work location within the territory.
  • Remote work setup with occasional travel and overnight stays.
  • Up to 80% travel, including seasonal outdoor conditions.
  • Weekend availability required.
