Agriculture Set Up Technician (shift work) - Swift Current

At Pattison Agriculture we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT AND EVOLVE with us! We are looking for multiple PDI/Set-Up Shift Service Technicians to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Swift Current, SK.

These roles are newly structured for the organization and are planned to be worked within a rotational 2 shift structure. Shifts may rotate with the potential morning shift being a 5:00 am - 3:30 pm and the afternoon shift being a 1:30 pm - 12:00 am. Within the shift structure, there may be options that include 10-hour days with 8 shifts on and 6 shifts off in a 2-week structure or 10-hour days with 4 shifts per week.

Our PDI Technicians are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers by performing Pre-Delivery Inspections and assembly of all types of equipment to prepare for delivery, as well as assisting in repairs of agricultural and turf equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on all types of equipment and prepare the equipment for delivery.
• Assemble all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership.
• Assist in repairs and basic service tasks as required.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process.
• Operate a forklift to transport parts, equipment, and supplies for the service department.
• Participate in training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Mechanical skills and ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in pre-delivery and set-up processes.
• Able to assemble machinery components to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Experience performing service repairs/maintenance.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.
• Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products and/or farming background would be considered an asset.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
