We are seeking a Relationship Manager to join our Business Banking team in Lethbridge. Reporting to the AG - Team Lead, your primary goal is to deliver personalized advice to agriculture members. As an AG Relationship Manager, you will manage a portfolio of AG loans and deposits, and be responsible for sales, service, and growth within that portfolio. Your experience in agriculture banking will help you build strong relationships with members, the retail branch network, local business owners, and the professional community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Developing and maintaining effective sales and marketing efforts to maximize AG loan and deposit growth, and sales of peripheral products to support our members' success.
  2. Proactively building relationships with existing and prospective members.
  3. Staying informed about lending and deposit services, products, policies, and legislation.
  4. Maximizing the existing portfolio, including loan and deposit growth.
  5. Developing and submitting renewal applications.
  6. Recommending rates within discretionary limits and approving loans within lending authority.
  7. Evaluating requests based on policy, risk, and profitability.
Requirements

Experience and Education:

  1. 3 to 5 years of progressive lending and AG banking experience.
  2. Proven ability in credit granting and sales of Business Banking products over 3 to 7 years.
  3. Experience in business development, underwriting, compliance, and basic portfolio management.
  4. Experience working with members, potential members, community influencers, and employees.
  5. University degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience.
