Job summary

South Country Equipment is seeking a dedicated technician to service John Deere and other equipment for farmers in the Raymore area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery, with flexibility to work in the shop or on-site in the field, supporting customers during peak farming seasons.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-focused work style.
• Able to diagnose and repair John Deere or related equipment with accuracy.
• Comfort with basic computer tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair John Deere equipment and other lines as needed.
• Work in the shop or in the field, adjusting to priorities.
• Support farmers through critical seasonal periods and on-call rotations.
• Participate in ongoing training and apprenticeships as offered.
