Job summary

Brandt's Claresholm branch is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician (Agriculture Equipment Technician) to join our service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment, including tractors, hay tools, and turf implements, and may service at customer sites when needed.

Ideal candidates have a trade certification or are apprentices, with strong problem-solving skills, good computer use, and a commitment to accurate work orders and ongoing learning in evolving equipment

Qualifications

• Trade certification in heavy equipment or agriculture equipment is an asset.
• Apprentices registered under this trade may be considered.
• Experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment.
• Ability to complete detailed repair order notes on each job.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain agricultural equipment (tractors, hay tools, and Ag & Turf implements).
• Repair, service or diagnose equipment at customer sites when needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and adjustments for infield optimization.
• Recondition pre-owned equipment and document work orders accurately.
