As an Agricultural Equipment Technician, or Service Technician, you work independently to perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment. You work both in-field and in-shop, requiring very little direction. As a Journeyperson, you share your knowledge by mentoring others.

To be considered for an interview, you should have:

• A certified trade such as Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic, or similar; John Deere certification is a strong asset
• Consideration may be given to 3rd or 4th level apprentices
• Minimum 3 years of experience in diagnostics and service repairs
• Computer skills; Service Advisor experience is an asset
• Physical ability to perform the job, including lifting at least 75 lbs repeatedly
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
