Job summary

Delta Power Equipment in St. Marys, Ontario is seeking an Agricultural Parts Shipper/Receiver to contribute to keeping parts and equipment moving for our farming customers.

The role involves receiving and processing shipments, packing and dispatching orders, and using forklifts to handle parts while ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced dealership environment. You'll work with inventory and parts teams, support freight scheduling, and resolve shipment discrepancies to help our customers

Qualifications

• Experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
• Computer literacy including Word, Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments.
• Unload shipments safely, including repetitive lifting of parts and materials.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and lift trucks as required.
• Match incoming products to purchase orders and shipping documentation.
• Verify shipment accuracy and ensure all required paperwork is complete.
• Sort, organize, and distribute incoming parts and materials to the appropriate departments.
• Assist with scheduling freight pickups and deliveries when required.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving missing shipments, damaged goods, or incomplete documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
• Support inventory control and warehouse organization initiatives.

This role is more than shipping and receiving. You'll play a key part in ensuring parts and equipment move efficiently through the dealership so our customers can stay productive when it matters most.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Word, Excel, and email required. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
