Job summary

Rocky Mountain Equipment is seeking a skilled field service technician in Manitoba to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain farm equipment. You will inspect components, replace defective parts, and test performance to meet manufacturers' specs, while keeping thorough maintenance records.

This permanent full-time role offers 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities and a benefits package, including RRSP, health and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years experience in the field.
• No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Verify and repair emission control systems.
• Perform other routine maintenance.
