Job summary

Myrowich Staffing Agency in Manitoba is seeking an Agricultural Equipment Technician to troubleshoot and inspect equipment, adjust machines to specifications, and repair or replace defective parts.

The role includes maintaining maintenance records, ordering parts, performing cleaning and lubrication, keeping a tidy workspace, welding steel components, and operating heavy equipment safely. Housing assistance through April 30 and a company vehicle for the first eight months are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Preference for basic English knowledge; candidates with remedial English considered.
• Physically demanding; able to bend, crouch and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/inspect equipment to detect faults/malfunctions.
• Adjust equipment to specifications and repair or replace defective parts.
• Keep maintenance records and documentation.
• Order/purchase required parts and shop supplies.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Welding (electric arc and/or MIG) of steel components.
• Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment and farm vehicles.
