Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Agricultural Ecologist at Associated Environmental Consultants located in North Okanagan or in Vancouver, BC. The Agricultural Ecologist will be responsible for conducting vegetation studies, reclamation and restoration planning, soil characterization, writing reports, performing fieldwork, learning regulations, and assessing environmental impacts.

Qualifications

  • Soil, plant growth and Botany knowledge
  • Experience in Report Writing and Environmental Impact Assessment
  • Fieldwork experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field
  • Knowledge of local flora and fauna
  • Experience with GIS software is a plus
