Job summary

Esri Canada is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead agile delivery across GIS software development teams in Canada. You will plan, coordinate, and facilitate sprint activities, manage impediments, and drive successful releases.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration with developers, QA, product owners, and stakeholders, with a focus on GIS-enabled project delivery. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in agile delivery, Scrum mastery, and experience in GIS-related processes, including

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in IT, geomatics, business, or related field.
5+ years of agile delivery, project coordination, Scrum Master, or related roles.
Experience supporting software development in an agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities

Facilitate, plan and deliver agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
Coordinate delivery activities across product development teams to support sprint and release objectives.
Identify and remove impediments affecting team productivity and delivery timelines.
Facilitate backlog refinement and maintain visibility of priorities, dependencies, risks.
Monitor sprint progress and communicate delivery status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
Coordinate release planning for software releases, patches, and hotfix deployments.
Promote agile practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
Support collaboration among developers, QA, product owners, and stakeholders.
