Full Stack Engineer - iOS Mobile App Development

About the Role

Bonus points if you are multi-stack, particularly in React or React Native. We are looking for someone with experience in Swift, Kotlin, and React.

We're seeking a talented Mobile Engineer to join our growing team and help build the next generation of mobile applications with integrated AI capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an intermediate to senior level developer who is passionate about mobile development and emerging AI technologies.

You'll work on developing cross-platform mobile applications using Android, iOS, and React Native while building robust backend services to support AI-powered features.

What You'll Do

• Mobile Development: Build high-quality, performant Android and iOS applications for mobile platforms
• Backend Development: Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs to support mobile applications
• AI Integration: Implement AI features including Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI-driven functionalities in mobile apps
• Full Stack Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for features from mobile frontend to backend services
• Code Quality: Write clean, testable code following best practices and conduct code reviews
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance across mobile and backend systems

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on Android development experience and/or iOS development experience
• 2+ years of Node.js backend development experience
• Experience with mobile app deployment (App Store, Google Play)
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

Mobile-Specific Experience:

• Native module integration and platform-specific implementations
• Mobile app performance optimization and debugging
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks

Highly Desirable Skills

AI & Modern Development:

• Experience integrating AI/ML models into mobile applications
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs
• Experience with AI-powered features like chatbots, recommendation systems, or intelligent automation

Additional Technical Skills:

• React.js experience for web development
• Database design and management (SQL and NoSQL)
• CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance
