Job Description:
- Mentor and support established Agile teams, utilizing advanced understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile practices.
- Assess current team practices and maturity levels using metrics and performance measures, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Develop and deliver tailored training programs to support Agile roles and responsibilities across the organization.
- Engage with VP and C-suite executives to foster an understanding and enthusiasm for Agile methodologies; demonstrate the business value of Agile through relevant metrics.
- Facilitate the alignment of Agile practices across multiple teams and departments to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.
- Guide teams in refining their processes and practices, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by integrating the latest Agile tools and best practices into team workflows.
- Provide strategic leadership in scaling Agile practices through frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or DaD.
- Resolve impediments and streamline workflows to enhance team performance and delivery capabilities.
- Prepare and deliver training to teams and key Agile roles within the teams helping them adopt agile ways of working.
- Work closely with the teams to enhance the Jira tool settings (project, workflow, issue schemes, permissions) to track the teams work.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and regular feedback loops to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Address and resolve conflicts or bottlenecks to enhance team dynamics and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT Agile transformation lead and other agile coaches to align agile practices with the IT Agile transformation strategy.
- Present and align with the senior leadership on a coaching plan to support their org, and track progress through metrics and share the same with them.
- Stay updated with Agile trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve candidate coaching strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders as needed, to bring them on the agile journey along with the teams.
- Experience leading and providing necessary training and guidance to the IT Agile champions network.
- Experience setting up and championing Communities of Practices (CoPs).
- Ability to assess key Agile roles for required competencies and skills and provide coaching guidance and training to support their role maturity.
- Work closely with the Change Management team to align Agile Transformation strategy to Change Management strategy.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Experience with Atlassian products, especially JIRA and Confluence and creating JIRA Scrum boards and dashboards required.
- Experience with Atlassian Compass, and rich filters plug in a huge plus.
- Experience working with IT Teams developing Salesforce, Workday, ERP, NetSuite and other package solutions is highly preferred.
- Experience coaching teams through continuous improvement using DevOps metrics is a huge plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow tools and Smartsheets is highly preferred.
- Established success in areas of impact for influence, cross group collaboration, and focus on positive outcomes.
- Expertise in building high-performing teams and coaching teams through the complexities of an Agile implementation.
- Has a pragmatic approach to get teams excited about agile.
- Must be a self-starter, organized and detail oriented with competent problem-solving skills.
