Job summary

Sysco Canada Inc. is seeking a diligent Business Analyst to elicit requirements, perform in-depth analysis, and translate business needs into stories and acceptance criteria within an agile environment.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, software engineers, and project managers to deliver high-value solutions. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, 2+ years in business analysis, a Bachelor's degree, and AS400 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

2+ years in business analysis.
1-year experience in elicitation, modeling, and verification, preferably with agile methodologies.
Experience in Distribution environment is preferred.
College/University degree or equivalent years of experience.
End user experience with AS400.

Responsibilities

Understands the fundamentals of the business domain and supported applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, users, PMs and customers to meet expectations.
Capture and analyze process flows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Lead discussions on business needs and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Execute unit tests to ensure requirements are met.
Provide insights to prioritize work and manage the backlog.
Lead agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives to support delivery.
Work with the team to ensure end-to-end design, development, QA, deployment and support.
Support continuous improvement and safety practices.
