Job summary

Airbus Canada Limited Partnership seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support autonomous work cells in Mirabel, QC, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth production for the A220 program.

You will define manufacturing strategies, collaborate with engineering, logistics and quality teams, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards. Bilingual French and English required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a DEC in Engineering or Aeronautics.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or aviation.
• PMP certification or experience in project management is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support autonomous work cells and EAP to resolve technical issues quickly to minimize production impact.
• Define and implement manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
• Coordinate with engineering, materials, logistics, quality and production teams.
• Identify risks and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional communication with stakeholders.

The A220 commercial aircraft Program is looking for one Manufacturing Engineering to join our operations support department team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

You will be part of the PREFAL team responsible for producing aircraft components which are delivered to the two FALs of the A220 program, Mirabel and Mobil.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as a manufacturing engineering, will be to support the autonomous work cells / EAP, and ensure that technical issues are resolved efficiently and quickly in order to minimize impacts to operations.

Your challenges:

• Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working in close collaboration with the engineering, materials logistics, quality and production;
• Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects.

Your boarding pa ss:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or DEC in Engineering or Aeronautics with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience;
• PMP certification or experience in project management is an asset;
• You have strong experience in continuous improvement and problem solving;
• You have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• You have an analytical mind and an ability to efficiently solve problems;
• You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Votre profil:

• Vous détenez un baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou industriel ou un DEC en génie ou en aéronautique avec un minimum de 5 à 8 ans d'expérience pertinente;
• Certification PMP ou expérience en gestion de projet est un atout;
• Vous avez une solide expérience en amélioration continue ;
• Vous pouvez jouer un rôle clé en méthodologie de résolution de problèmes;
• Vous avez la capacité de travailler sous pression et de respecter les échéances.
• Vous maîtrisez le français et l'anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit.
