Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager, the incumbent is responsible for accurate rating of rooms and ensuring the room rack is properly adjusted at all times.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Checking out any vacant and clean (due out) rooms and changing statuses of rooms in the rack.
  • Running alert date reports
  • Reviewing out-of-order and off-market rooms on a daily basis for validity.
  • Answering incoming phone calls and responding to guest requests.
  • Performing guest check-out duties.
  • Offering bell assistance to each guest upon depature and running applicable reports to verify correct room rates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Flexibile to cover overnight shifts, as required.


Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent education required and minimum front desk/hotel experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk distances.
  • The employee must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:
  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
