An established industry player is seeking a finance and general accounting agent for a temporary position. In this role, you will manage financial accounts, produce insightful reports, and ensure the organization meets its financial objectives. You'll engage in budgeting, audits, and financial simulations while supporting day-to-day operations. Temporary position for 12 months.
As a finance and general accounting agent, you help manage financial accounts in accordance with the organization’s objectives by producing reports and performing audits, inspections and financial simulations. In addition to ensuring financial performance, you help plan and review budget processes. You help manage and control the organization’s accounting systems by gathering, processing and recording financial data to accurately reflect the organization’s economic activity. You participate in activities related to financial engineering, product and service pricing, financial market transactions and tax law analysis (including payroll). You perform administrative and follow-up tasks to support your unit’s day-to-day operations and help it achieve operational objectives and carry out initiatives in accordance with the detailed guidelines in place. The ability to drive results is therefore essential. You help process information and solve simple, everyday issues, tailoring your approach as needed. You respond to administrative and operational questions. More specifically, you will be required to:
Help carry out the unit’s operational and administrative processes
Help analyze and produce reports and statistics
Perform administrative tasks, including data collection, entry, modification, compilation and coding
Conduct factual and operational research for team members and practitioners
Provide information about your line of business’s processes and procedures
Help prepare presentations and related documents.

What you bring to the table
Trade school diploma in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
