Qualifications

  • 3 ans d'expérience dans un poste similaire.
  • Compétences excellentes en communication en français et anglais.
  • Connaissance de l'industrie de la construction considérée comme un atout.

Position is REMOTE : The selected candidate must reside within 250 km of our BOUCHERVILLE (Qc) office.

Become a member of our credit management team and make a difference to our financial performance! Use your negotiating flair and analytical expertise to manage customer accounts and meet a variety of challenges, in a dynamic working environment.

Your role :

Ensure that the company credit policy and procedures are respected and followed

Approve credit applications within company guidelines

Re-evaluate the accounts credit limit as needed

Put any delinquent accounts on credit hold when necessary

Collect past due receivables for assigned accounts

Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up with customer

Work with Sales representatives and Store Managers when collection assistance is required

Consult with immediate supervisor for situations such as bankruptcy, application of liens and legal action

Work as part of a team with other Credit Administrators and participate in various related projects

Participate in all other related tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department

What we're looking for :

College diploma in administration or in a related field

3 years' experience in a similar position

Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English - English will be main language used in the work environment as assigned customers are in the western provinces

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Solid judgement and strong analytical skills to make sound decisions

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be team oriented

Excellent skills with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Knowledge of the construction industry will be considered as an asset
