Position Overview

A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their team as an Administrator - Desjardins Agent Team Member. Responsibilities
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Ensure office processes are followed and develop new procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate training within the office and assist new employees.
  • Collaborate with the Agency financial services manager on training initiatives.
  • Develop work schedules and distribute HR policies.
  • Manage banking needs of the agency.
  • Assign daily office activities to staff.
  • Assist in quarterly reviews of team members.
Requirements
  • Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Proven success in meeting sales goals or quotas preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong dedication to customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Property & Casualty license – must hold a current license.
