Role overview

As the Aftersales Manager, your role will be to manage the Technical Service Department and to work closely with the Customer Service team to achieve quality and customer care objectives.

Key responsibilities

  1. Manage and support the technical service department
  2. Undertake regular reviews of departmental performance
  3. Undertake performance reviews and identify training needs
  4. Implement appropriate training and development plans
  5. Keep up to date with technical information and communicate relevant information to the team
  6. Recruit departmental staff
  7. Contribute to the development of annual budgets
  8. Produce regular reports on departmental performance
  9. Monitor and manage costs in accordance with agreed budgets
  10. Continually work to improve customer care standards
  11. Monitor and manage work in progress
  12. Monitor and control cash, trade and warranty debtors
  13. Attend meetings and training sessions

About You

As an Aftersales Manager, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

  1. Ability to lead, manage and motivate your team to maximise every profit opportunity, whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
  2. A stable and proven track record in managing an Aftersales department and be able to demonstrate delivering a profitable result
  3. A full clean driving licence
