Job summary

CHEP is hiring in Delta, BC for a Warehouse Personnel. You will repair damaged CHEP pallets weighing 50–70 lbs, perform pallet sorting and inspections, and support service centre operations in a fast-paced warehouse. This full-time, unionized role offers a starting wage of CAD 28.26–29.61 per hour, with performance incentives and a probationary pay increase.

Shifts are Sunday to Thursday, afternoons. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, paid breaks, and life/work balance

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1-3 years general labour, construction, carpentry, landscaping or similar experience.
  • 1-3 years experience with power tools.
  • Forklift experience or certificate preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical work.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair damaged CHEP pallets weighing 50-70 lbs.
  • Sort and inspect pallets to meet safety and productivity requirements.
  • Support service centre operations with pallet inspection, repair and general warehouse duties.
  • Contribute to CHEP’s Zero Harm safety culture.

About the Role

The Warehouse Personnel repairs damaged CHEP pallets weighing between 50-70 lbs, using speed, accuracy, and attention to detail while ensuring safety, security, and productivity requirements are met. This is a fast‑paced, quota‑driven production environment with performance incentive opportunities. In this hands‑on role, you will support service centre operations through pallet inspection, sorting, repair, and general warehouse duties while contributing to CHEP’s Zero Harm safety culture.

Compensation: $28.26-$29.61/hr starting wage (pay increase after probation) Additional pay premium based on shift Performance-based production incentives, paid monthly

Vous devez avoir !
