Job summary

UPS Vancouver area is hiring Afternoon Ground Handlers (Ramp Agents) at the YVR area, Richmond BC. The role involves outdoor ramp work, loading containers, operating ground equipment, and guiding aircraft on the tarmac.

You will train on the job with full benefits, tuition reimbursement, and weekly pay. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 2:00PM–7:00PM, 27–30 hours weekly, with wage progression to top rates over time.

Qualifications

• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
• Permanent shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00PM–7:00PM.
• Work 27–30 hours per week, five days.
• Must have a valid Class 5 BC Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Be able to lift up to 70 lbs and wear safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Load air containers and packages onto the UPS plane.
• Operate ramp vehicles and equipment.
• Marshall and direct planes in or out of parking positions.
• Assist with setup for the next day.
