Compass Early Learning and Care (CELC) seeks a School Age Educator to join our after-school program in Minden. You will work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3 pm–6 pm, with potential to pick up more hours during PA days and school holidays in full-day programs.
You will engage with children, families, and colleagues to foster growth and curiosity. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years’ experience, knowledge of ECE standards, and current certs (First Aid, CPR) with a valid vulnerable sector

At Compass ELC, you will work as a School Age Educator alongside some of the most passionate, caring, and dedicated educators in the industry. You will spend your time engaging, connecting, and learning alongside children, families, community partners, and co-workers. You are passionate about early learning and care, emergent curriculum, and lifelong learning. You are energetic, resourceful, and creative in your pursuits of creating learning opportunities, building connections, and engaging with children and families. This position will be working in a kindergarten or school-age classroom.
You will work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 3 pm to 6 pm in after-school programming, with the opportunity to pick up some additional hours at our Minden full day program during the day. Full days During PA days, Winter break, March break, and Summer break, this role will work full-time hours.
Hours will be based on the needs and funding of the program.
