Job summary

Flex Academy, part of HCOS, seeks an Out of School Care Educator to run the after-school program for K-5 students. The role focuses on developing engaging activities, Camps during breaks, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment on-site five days weekly for 20 hours.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years with children, activity planning experience, and current First Aid and Food Safe Certificates. Collaborative, mission-aligned team members are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with children.
• Experience planning activities for children.
• Must have a valid First Aid certificate and Food Safe Certification.
• Responsible Adult Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and facilitate the Sparks After School Care Program.
• Plan Kids Camps during PD Days and breaks.
• Create engaging learning and play opportunities for students.
• Maintain a relational, safe and creative learning space.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff.
