Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada, based in Longueuil, is seeking a Technical Publications professional to write, edit, and publish Service Bulletins and create clear technical illustrations. You will work on documentation aligned with company standards and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure accuracy.

This full-time on-site role requires a technical diploma or degree and strong English skills to read and write technical terms from international sources, offering growth

Qualifications

• Technical diploma (DEC, AEC, or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering Technology, Aircraft Maintenance, Technical Publications, or a related technical field; or
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish accurate Service Bulletins in accordance with company standards and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain technical illustrations and visual content that effectively support documentation and improve user understanding.
• Manage your workload independently, ensuring priorities are balanced and all deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive communication and quality deliverables.
• Consistently apply and adhere to corporate standards, documentation guidelines, and established procedures.
• Prioritize incoming customer requests, manage expectations, and communicate timelines effectively.
• Lead and participate in meetings focused on the continuous improvement of Standard Work, documentation processes, and operating procedures.
• Participate in escaped issue analysis (Escaped Defect Analysis) to identify root causes and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, product support, and other stakeholders, to ensure technical accuracy and alignment.
• Create, maintain, and update the Integrated Parts Catalog (IPC) to ensure product information remains accurate, complete, and compliant with company requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance documentation quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
