Job summary

Cascade Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Production Planner to plan activities for assigned projects and tasks within designated areas. A large portion of the role involves scheduling management using Microsoft Project.

The candidate will maintain project schedules, produce weekly production plans, and coordinate with Operations to ensure timely delivery while complying with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Canadian residency is required due to controlled goods clearance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience planning heavy maintenance on transport category aircraft
• Proficient in Microsoft Project scheduling
• Experience with schedule management and production planning
• Ability to obtain Controlled Goods clearance (Canada)

Responsibilities

• Maintain project schedules and communicate schedule status to Programs/Customers
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and identify schedule & budget risks
• Lead problem-solving sessions among Operations to address schedule issues
• Produce weekly production plan aligned with the overall schedule and track progress
• Generate weekly production resource demand for assigned projects
• Review inputs from materials, resources and engineering status for schedule tracking
• Manage scope changes including customer requests and emergent work
• Collaborate with Operations Supervisor to maintain project boards
• Produce Daily Production Status Reports and weekly operations cards closure reports
• Ensure work complies with check packages, regulatory bodies, procedures and safety
• Uphold quality standards while achieving productivity goals
