Job description

The Aerospace Painter will be responsible for applying industrial paint finishes and/or powder coats on metal products, ensuring all parts are sprayed to a consistently high quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate hand-held spray guns to apply paint or coatings to large items.
  • Select appropriate paint for each task.
  • Prepare items for painting by cleaning, washing, stripping, sanding, removing corrosion, and filling dents.
  • Clean and maintain painting equipment, including ventilation, compressed air, and personal protective equipment.
  • Perform assembly of painted parts using hand tools.
  • Inspect, record, and report defects.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required by the supervisor.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Painter in automotive or aerospace industries.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using spray guns and other painting equipment.
  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial painting and finishing.
  • Knowledge of paint prep and paint shop operations.

The position offers a 6am-6pm shift on a 3-2-2 schedule, where you work three days, have two days off, work two days, and then have three days off. The facility is clean and bright, providing a comfortable and efficient work setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hawkesbury, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
