Job summary

MRO Electronics is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to guide the introduction of new products in our Calgary facility. You will oversee the full NPI lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in NPI, strong project management, and experience with CAD and ERP systems. A strong focus on continuous improvement and documentation is essential in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in NPI engineering, ideally in aerospace or related industry.
Knowledge of project management principles and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with CAD software and ERP systems.
Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute project plans for new product launches, coordinating resources and timelines.
Define and document manufacturing processes, including process flows, work instructions, and quality controls.
Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and requirements.
