Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Project Manager - Materials Control to join the Materials Control team in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will collaborate across transport, warehouse and expediting teams to implement new processes and manage critical items for operations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and leadership within a unionized manufacturing environment. You will support process implementation for new methods, coordinate workshops with stakeholders, and

Qualifications

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management and/or Logistics.
• 5–10 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing systems.
• Experience in SAP is a significant asset.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; bilingual French/English.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects of various sizes within the Materials Control organization.
• Be the focal point for all material flow processes, kanban management, and drop-off points.
• Ensure the methods and means for delivering parts to workstations.
• Control the master schedule to support projects related to future ramp-ups.
• Participate in, organize, and facilitate workshops with various stakeholders.
• Document processes and define requirements for specific functions.
• Propose and implement areas for improvement.
