Job summary

FTAI Aviation, based in Montreal, seeks an experienced engineering professional to join our Component Repair Cells and support repair operations. This evening shift role runs Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with long weekends; you will implement repair standards, support investigations, and liaise with engine manufacturers and vendors.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical/Aeronautical/Materials/Metallurgical engineering background and at least four years in aerospace engine shop repair

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years in an aerospace engine shop focusing on maintenance/ repairs.
• Experience in investigations and technical reporting with actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Repair Cells in daily operations.
• Introduce technical instructions into workflows to support operations.
• Participate in material review boards and deviations when needed.
• Initiate and establish repair standards to meet quality requirements.
• Support repair development and review FAI for OEM repairs.
