Job summary

IMP Solutions, based in Gander, Newfoundland, is seeking a Systems Administrator / Systems Analyst for a 4-month contract with potential to extend. You will support aircraft maintenance software and provide exceptional customer service as part of the Aerospace Development & Support team.

You will manage server, client and network infrastructure, work with Hyper-V, Veeam, Docker, Linux, Oracle and Ansible, and help ensure backups are complete and verified.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux.
• Knowledge of SQL database administration.
• Fundamental networking, backup and data recovery knowledge.
• English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support branch office infrastructure: server, client and network.
• Work with Hyper-V, Veeam, Docker, Linux, Windows Server/Desktop, Oracle, Ansible.
• Maintain Windows OS and software configurations and utilities.
• Support 30+ Windows clients and network devices.
• Act as system expert for proprietary applications.
• Provide after-hours support with the team.
• Ensure backups are complete and verified.
• Perform issue management and reporting.
• Assist Aerospace team with related duties.
