Job summary

CS Group Canada is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design PCB boards for aerospace applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, verification, and qualification of electronic boards used in aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with DO-254 and DO-160 in a regulated development environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform unit tests, review designs, and support V&V activities to meet project milestones while adhering to quality

Qualifications

• Experience designing analog, digital, FPGA and microprocessor-based electronic circuits.
• Knowledge of schematic analysis, signal integrity, power distribution and hardware debugging.
• Familiarity with development lifecycle and V&V activities in a regulated environment.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and programmable power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical requirements related to electronic board development.
• Design and develop electronic schematics in accordance with the project development plan.
• Participate in design reviews and implement corrective actions from review findings.
• Perform unit testing and support Verification & Validation activities.
• Collaborate with quality, production and cross-functional engineering teams to hit milestones.
• Provide regular progress updates and escalate risks impacting schedule, quality, or performance.
