Job summary
Aviya Aerospace Systems in Mississauga, Ontario, is hiring Software Verification Engineers to join our engineering group. You will verify embedded software for airworthy control systems and participate in DO-178C based testing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer or software engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering considered with Computer Science minor).
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experience with C and C++ for embedded software development.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python) for test development and automation.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Software team on validation, verification and release of embedded software for airworthy control systems.
- Review software architecture, high level requirements and low-level requirements against product and software requirements.
- Conduct source code reviews and analysis to ensure compliance with design documents and standards.
- Perform Requirements Based Testing (Unit Testing, Software Integration Testing & HSIT per DO-178C guidelines).
- Contribute to process improvements and perform related duties as required.
