Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC programming with 5-axis experience.
• College diploma or CNC certificate as listed.
• Hands-on CAM experience and G-code editing.

Responsibilities

• Write CNC programs for 3-axis to simultaneous 5-axis milling and EDM.
• Prove out new programs at the machine and support first article.
• Edit and troubleshoot NC code on the shop floor to cut setup time.
• Design and build fixtures/workholding for complex aerospace parts.
• Improve tooling, toolpaths, and cutting strategies to shorten cycles.
• Provide DFM feedback to engineering to lower cost and risk.
• Inspect parts with measuring tools and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
