Insight Global is seeking an AEM Front-End Developer to work on enterprise-scale gaming and lottery web experiences in Ontario. Insight Global is looking for a AEM developer to work on one of the top companies of gaming and lottery of ontario.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Digital Solution Development, you will be empowered to:

• Partner with product owners, lab teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, assess feasibility, define technical solutions, and provide accurate effort and timeline estimates for digital initiatives.
• Lead front-end solutioning sessions with third-party vendors to design and integrate complex capabilities into enterprise-scale web experiences built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5+, Cloud Service), ensuring alignment on contracts, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Develop and maintain complex integrations with vendor and internal services through APIM, REST, Sling, and other service-based architectures, enabling seamless connectivity across platforms and applications.
• Own end-to-end technical implementation of complex features throughout the software development lifecycle, including proof of concepts, prototyping, code development, unit testing, QA support, deployment, and post-release optimization.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers, conduct thorough peer code reviews, uphold coding standards, and champion engineering excellence by contributing to reusable components, shared libraries, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability, while providing advanced-level support for complex production issues when required.
• Collaborate with technology partners, operations teams, and external vendors to identify risks, recommend solutions, document technical designs, and support successful transitions of new capabilities into ongoing operations.

AEM Front-End Developer Hiring Profile

• Experience Required: 5+ years of overall experience, including at least 1-2 years of hands‑on AEM experience.
• Candidates should have worked on large-scale, consumer-facing applications and have real production experience supporting and enhancing AEM-based websites.

We are looking for someone who has actively worked on multiple AEM projects and can contribute immediately, rather than someone who has only briefly interacted with the platform.

Role Focus

This position is focused on front-end development within the AEM ecosystem. The work primarily involves:

• Building and enhancing AEM pages
• Developing and maintaining AEM front-end components
• Working with templates and content structures
• Implementing front-end modules integrated within AEM

AEM backend development is not a primary focus for this role.

Integration Experience

Candidates should be comfortable working with APIs and integrations, including:

• REST API consumption
• API testing and validation
• Postman
• Integration troubleshooting
• Understanding request/response flows and front-end service integrations
• Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular in conjunction with AEM
• Deep understanding of Author/Publish architecture
• Experience creating components, templates, Experience Fragments, and Content Fragments
• Background working on enterprise-scale or high-traffic consumer-facing websites
• Ability to work independently within an established AEM environment with minimal ramp‑up time

Ideal Profile:

An experienced AEM Front-End Developer with strong production AEM expertise and experience using Vue.js (preferred), React, or Angular within the AEM ecosystem, capable of immediately contributing to large-scale consumer-facing digital experiences.
