YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring an excellent guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train and motivate associates, and drive sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through exceptional in-store experiences. You support Store Leadership in leveraging business opportunities to meet KPI targets.
  • Lead people: Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values. Serve as a role model and hold associates accountable to uphold AEO’s service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  • Talent development: Recruit and hire strong talent to ensure adequate staffing. Focus on training and developing associates to deliver outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
  • Promote teamwork: Set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing performance feedback, and celebrate successes to boost engagement.
  • Visual & operational innovator: Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and maintaining visual standards. Ensure Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  • Maintain integrity: Uphold store safety standards, Asset Protection policies, and adhere to AEO's policies and procedures. Always do the right thing.
