Job description

YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading strong Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train, motivate, and celebrate associates, and have a passion for driving sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Drive sales: As a key LOD, you excel at maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through an outstanding in-store experience. You support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to achieve KPI results.
  2. Lead people: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, serving as a role model and holding associates accountable to our service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  3. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and are dedicated to training and developing associates to uphold our Guest First culture and provide exceptional service.
  4. Promote teamwork: You set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates, provide ongoing feedback through real-time coaching, and celebrate outstanding performance to boost engagement.
  5. Innovate operational procedures: You execute and improve daily visual and operational tasks, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
  6. Maintain integrity: You uphold store safety, Asset Protection standards, adhere to policies, and always do the right thing.
