YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by managing Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You oversee daily store operations as needed, motivate and train associates, and drive sales results. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving sales: As a key LOD, you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through exceptional in-store experiences, and support Store Leadership in achieving KPI results.
- People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team, serve as a role model, and ensure associates uphold AEO's service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent, and focus on training and developing associates to deliver outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
- Teamwork and engagement: You set clear, attainable goals, provide ongoing feedback, and celebrate performance to motivate and engage your team.
- Visual & operational innovation: You execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures, including shipment processing, merchandising, and visual standards, ensuring the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity: You maintain store safety and Asset Protection standards, adhere to policies and procedures, and do the right thing always.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for AE and Aerie products
- Previous retail management experience leading teams
- Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Business acumen
- Flexible availability to work when guests shop
