YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's key partner in developing and implementing the store's Merchandising strategy. Your passion is in training and coaching your team to become excellent merchants who consistently meet AEO brand Visual standards. Through your leadership, your team excels at floorset execution, merchandising, and marketing standards. You ensure the store remains guest-ready through effective replenishment. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Driving sales: As a Leader on Duty (LOD), you maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty through exceptional service, and analyze reporting and trends to make strategic decisions. You assist the Store Team Leader in developing business plans to achieve key KPIs.
2. Merchandising innovation: You coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, maintain visual standards, and keep the store in top shape through day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment. You proactively identify merchandising opportunities and implement action plans.
3. People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team, serve as a role model, and hold your team accountable to AEO's customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
4. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting, hiring, training, and developing your team to ensure excellent service and continuous growth.
5. Teamwork: You foster a collaborative environment by providing ongoing feedback, conducting touchbases, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrating team successes.
6. Operational excellence: You execute daily operations efficiently, support visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with Brand Standards.
7. Integrity: You uphold store safety, Asset Protection, and adhere to all policies and procedures, always doing the right thing.
