YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand Visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team always nails floorset execution, and rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards. You ensure the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. Most importantly, you represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

Your Responsibilities

• Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, build guest loyalty, analyze reporting and trends to make strategic decisions, and develop business plans to meet KPIs.
• Merchandising innovation: Coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, maintain visual standards, and seize merchandising opportunities with proactive plans.
• People leadership: Motivate and inspire your team, hold them accountable to service standards, and embody AEO's core values.
• Talent development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members to ensure excellent service and store performance.
• Teamwork and engagement: Provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and celebrate successes to foster a positive team environment.
• Operational excellence: Support daily operations, maintain visual standards, ensure guest-ready fitting rooms, and uphold safety and asset protection standards.

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about AE and Aerie products.
• Experience leading retail teams, with strong multitasking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of employment law and team development.
• Business acumen and flexible availability to meet store hours.
