YOUR ROLE
As the full-time Associate Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high-performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always meets their sales goals, maintains merchandising brand standards, and delivers operational excellence! Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You have a passion for driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you're an expert at maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience. You analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions, and you help develop short and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs.
- You're a people leader: Motivating and inspiring your team through AEO's core values is your priority. You serve as a role model and hold your team accountable to uphold AEO's customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- You've got an eye for talent and a love of training: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent to ensure the store is always staffed appropriately. You take pride in training and developing your team to provide outstanding service.
- You know that teamwork makes the dream work: Building a great team requires ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching. You conduct team touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews, and you foster associate engagement by celebrating achievements.
- You're an operational innovator: You excel at executing and innovating daily operational procedures, supporting visual standards, and ensuring the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity is your middle name: You maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection policies, follow AEO's policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
