Job summary

Diligent is seeking an Advisory Specialist I to support audit, risk and compliance solutions for clients. You will assist with discovery, translate requirements into design documents, and help deliver Diligent One prototypes.

Under supervision, you’ll enable training, maintain issue logs, and follow the standard methodology to deliver on time and scope. This is a growing, early‑career consulting role in a global GRC SaaS company.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage customer personnel in solution discussions on compliance and risk goals.
• Strong interest in compliance, vendor management, information security, or risk management.
• Able to work in a team to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• 2–3 years in a client-facing or consulting role.

Position Overview:

The Services team has unrivalled expertise across corporate governance, audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory environments in many sectors. They have the scale and reach to deliver significant changes smoothly, leveraging solution design and delivery to provide global, dynamic, flexible, and reliable outcomes with lasting results. Their vision is to partner as trusted advisors, working in joint teams that complement client strengths with the right mix of talent.

An Advisory Specialist I is an early‑career consultant in the Services team who supports delivery of audit, risk, and compliance solutions for clients. They assist with discovery and requirements capture by reviewing client documentation and helping lead discovery workshops to understand current processes and needs. Guided by senior advisors, they translate requirements into technical design documents, configure and iterate Diligent One prototypes, deliver enablement training, maintain issue logs, and follow the standard project methodology to deliver on time and in scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your product and domain expertise to deliver customer requests and create a delightful customer experience.
• Be responsible for the timely and quality delivery of the services requested by customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Senior Managers and Managers to ensure any new service requests are handled appropriately or routed the request to the correct teams.
• Document and maintain the standard operating procedures for performing the customer‑specific request.
• Consult with the global implementation teams and customer success teams to provide technical guidance to the customer to leverage more value from the product.

Required Experience/Skills

• Ability to effectively engage customer personnel in solution discussions to resolve issues regarding compliance, vendor management, information security and/or risk management requirements and goals.
• Strong passion for Compliance, Vendor management, Information security and/or Risk management field.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver in tight timeframes and respond quickly in an ever‑changing environment.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an internal or external client‑facing or consulting role.

Preferred Experience/Skills

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant area (e.g. Business Administration, Compliance Management, Legal & Ethics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Security or MIS).
• Experience with GRC and/or analytics tools.
• Experience in a platform‑based product/solution.

Pay Range

$56,000 — $70,000 CAD
