Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Head of Advisor Technology – Americas to provide strategic and technical leadership for platforms that support Financial Advisor Services across Canada, Mexico, and South America. You will set the technology vision, guide engineering leaders, and ensure secure, resilient digital capabilities that power advisor and client experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years related work experience, with at least five years of project management experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns the vision and strategy for delivering software releases for the business units, managing testing and vendor product selection.
• Leads staffing and operational plans; manages a global workforce and aligns goals with the overall strategy.
• Develops and enforces department policies; pursues continuous improvement and builds scalable technology solutions.
• Maintains relationships with key stakeholders to enable long-term collaboration and outcomes.
• Ensures staff compliance with IT and security policies and that deliverables meet requirements.
