Job description

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to share the BRP story and find and onboard the best talent. If you enjoy taking on challenges and are not afraid to go off-road to reach your destination, keep reading.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will make a difference by highlighting what makes BRP a unique place to work. You will be a true ambassador of the BRP culture and a matchmaker between potential candidates and hiring managers.

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, your days will be engaging and varied:

  1. Develop candidate pipelines using various sourcing methods and become an expert in the business area you support (IS&T).
    (This means actively meeting candidates where they are to share the BRP story and opportunities)
  2. Proactively share market intelligence with client groups and HR Business Partners, and develop tailored recruitment strategies (becoming true partners of the business and having a seat at the table for future talent needs).
  3. Advise hiring managers on full-cycle recruitment and effective candidate assessment (maintaining informal professionalism and keeping business partners informed).
  4. Conduct phone screens, shortlist candidates, lead interviews, manage debriefs, and oversee offer processes (engaging in one-on-one conversations to give insight into our culture).
  5. Participate in special projects and process improvements (embracing innovation and sharing ideas on doing things better).
  6. Be an ambassador of BRP as a great place to work.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  1. 2-3 years of recruiting experience
  2. A university degree in a related field
  3. Recent agency recruitment experience is a strong asset
  4. Passion and focus on recruitment, with a solid understanding of business
  5. Ability to build confidence and strong relationships with hiring managers
  6. Proven success with various sourcing strategies, including social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and referrals
  7. Stakeholder management skills

This is a temporary position for 6 to 12 months.
